Terms and Conditions

Status

I am an independent operator and not an employee, contractor, franchisee or agent of Monaco Nail Academy.

I operate as a Bronze Level Monaco Accredited Training Partner (MATP), delivering training in line with Monaco Nail Academy’s standards and guidelines.

Courses

Whether you’re building your foundation or adding to your skills, we’ll tailor your training to fit your needs. Lessons are held in person and can be scheduled flexibly - perfect if you’re balancing work or life commitments.

If you’re unsure where to start, I’m happy to chat through your options and help plan the best pathway for you. Email anna@nailart.nz for more information.

Enrollment

Payment is required to secure your place, and once processed, you’ll be registered with Monaco Nail Academy and given 12 months of online access to your course or module.

Within 2 business days of enrolling, you will receive access to the online components of your course, which you can access by logging into monaco.ac.nz.

Each course includes recommended study hours, and I’ll help you plan a schedule that keeps you on track and moving toward your goals. You can complete one module at a time or work toward a full qualification - whichever suits your pace and lifestyle best.

Payments

Deposits are non-refundable and secure your booking. Remaining balances must be paid in full before training begins.

Payments can be made via this website, bank transfer or Afterpay.

Afterpay - When you choose this option, Nailart is paid in full at the time of purchase, and your repayment terms are managed directly with Afterpay.

Payment plans for courses may be available on request and are subject to approval. A minimum deposit will be required to secure your booking.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule an in-person lesson, please give at least 7 days’ notice.

Cancellations within 7 days or missed lessons may incur fees or be treated as used sessions.

If I need to reschedule due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, you’ll be offered the next available date.

Refunds

Course deposits are non-refundable.

If you need to cancel before any lessons have begun, a partial refund may be available (excluding the deposit and any admin or registration fees).

Once lessons are underway, refunds aren’t available, as time, materials, and access have already been provided.

If unexpected circumstances arise, please reach out - I’ll always do my best to find a fair solution.

Affiliate Codes

Monaco affiliate codes do not apply to in-person training.

Course Kits

Product kits are an additional cost to your course.

All products used are to be for professional use only.

Students are responsible for ordering all kits, products and tools required for their courses and are to be purchased through reputable professional distributors.

Students enrolled in Monaco courses may access professional products with proof of study and it is their responsibility to obtain these prior to commencing in-person lessons.

Kits purchased through Nailart may be collected in person, or shipped to you by arrangement.

Timeframes

In-person: You will have regular in-person lessons to cover the content before your assessment. These will be as far apart as once fortnightly, to ensure that you are staying on track and we can get you qualified as soon as possible.

Timeframes can be found on the course/module information.

Should you require more time, we can discuss these options and the costs involved

Online: All online content is pre-recorded and varies in length by each course. This is to be completed at the rate that suits you. You have 12 months access to refer back on this at any time as part of your registration.

Lessons

As you move through your online learning, you will see prompts that say - It's time to book a lesson. These are pre-booked and prepaid in-person lessons with me at my home salon in Stoke, Nelson.

Other locations can be arranged but may involve extra fees.

Models

You will require at least 1 hand of a model per lesson.

Assessments

All assessments are observed by a Gold Accredited Training Partner of Monaco Nail Academy to ensure the quality of teaching, marking and student work. This observation applies only to assessments and not to lessons. Gold MATP observers will attend via Zoom unless otherwise advised prior to the assessment date.

Course Materials

All course notes, handouts and training materials remain the property of the educator and Monaco Nail Academy and may not be copied, shared or resold.

Support

Students studying through me receive Mon–Fri support, access to the Monaco Nail Academy online platform, and entry to the Monaco student community and regional chat. Training leads to a recognised Monaco Nail Academy qualification. In-person lessons, assessment preparation, and ongoing guidance are available as part of your enrolment.

Portfolio

Photos of your work will be taken during lessons for record keeping and quality assurance. These are required by Monaco Nail Academy and are submitted along with your marking sheets as part of your in-person training.

Some photos may also be used for social media or promotional purposes, but only with your consent.

Recording and Media

Lessons with me may not be recorded in any form unless permission has been given in advance. Monaco Nail Academy may request recordings for monitoring or quality purposes when needed.

Photos or short videos may be taken during training for educational or promotional use. Please let me know if you’d prefer not to be included.

Behaviour and Professional Conduct

Students are expected to arrive on time and a respectful, positive attitude is expected during all training. I reserve the right to remove any student behaving inappropriately or disrespectfully.

Health and Safety

Students must follow salon hygiene and safety guidelines. Please do not attend if you are unwell.

You reserve the right to refuse training if someone appears unwell or poses a risk.

Pricing and Policies

All pricing, course details and policies are subject to change without notice. The terms in place at the time of enrolment will apply to your booking.

Disputes

Any concerns about lessons, assessments or outcomes must be submitted in writing within 7 days. I’ll review all matters carefully and work with you to find a fair resolution. If we’re unable to resolve the issue, an independent party may be engaged to assist.

Liability

Every effort is made to provide a safe learning environment and all training follows best practices. However, as with any practical work, some risk is involved, which you accept by taking part in training.
Nailart and Anna Ferguson are not responsible for injuries, allergic reactions, damage caused by product misuse, indirect or consequential loss.

Agreement

By enrolling and/or making payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
